Mr. Sunil Khatri currently serves as the Care Taker Officer (CTO) for the Naval Wing of the NCC Unit at Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET), facilitating seamless coordination between TCET and 1 Maharashtra Naval Unit, Mumbai Group ‘B’. In this critical role, he oversees administrative planning and event execution, ensuring cadets receive consistent training, discipline, and support.
In addition to his NCC duties, Mr. Khatri is the Deputy Head of the B.Tech IoT Engineering Department at TCET. A seasoned educator with over eight years of experience, he actively integrates IoT, AI, and electronics into practical, real-world student projects. Beyond technical training, Mr. Khatri emphasizes leadership, discipline, and collaboration as core values in cadet development.
As the Convenor of the MHRD’s Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at TCET, he has been instrumental in fostering an ecosystem where students can ideate, prototype, and showcase their work on national platforms. This entrepreneurial approach complements his NCC responsibilities—guiding cadets in both technical training and soft-skill development.
Under his mentorship, cadets have:
- Presented technical models at the Idea & Innovation Camp during the Republic Day Camp (RDC), highlighting TCET’s excellence in innovation.
- Participated in hackathons, prototype challenges, and conferences, developing multidisciplinary, innovation-driven solutions.
