TCET NCC Innovation Cell – Experiential Defence Engineering Training
The Design & Development Division of the TCET NCC Unit serves as a hands-on defence engineering and technical training platform where cadets engage in structured modelling, fabrication, and system-level understanding & Development of modern military equipment.
Through continuous guided mentorship and coordinated teamwork, cadets conceptualize, design, fabricate, and develop scaled defence models pertaining to land, naval, and air defence systems. The initiative integrates discipline, leadership, engineering application, and defence awareness, transforming theoretical knowledge into practical learning.
The division functions as a project-based learning environment simulating real-world engineering workflow — including planning, material selection, fabrication, finishing, quality checks, and final deployment for institutional and ceremonial events. Cadets are engaged in vocationally relevant skill development, fostering a deeper understanding of defence technology and inspiring future careers in defence engineering and related fields. Cadets are rewarded with institute recognized certificates and accolades for their dedication and contribution to the projects.
